Contact enquiries
The contact form collects your name, email address and message, together with your company and service interests if you choose to provide them. The form sends the enquiry to both founding partners. The website does not store the submitted message in a database and an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Clicking an email or telephone link opens your chosen application. If you send an email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share and use it to handle your enquiry.
Cookies, analytics & tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, newsletter widgets, embedded social feeds or non-essential cookies. Our website code does not write to local storage, session storage or IndexedDB and does not fingerprint visitors. Because no non-essential tracking is enabled, there is currently no consent banner. If analytics or marketing technology is added later, the privacy information and consent mechanism must be updated before it is activated.
Logos, portraits, the hero image and other website assets are served locally. The website does not load Google Fonts or another external font service in visitor browsers.
The hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, requested URL and browser information in server and security logs in order to operate and protect the hosting service.
Why we use enquiry information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess a potential cooperation and manage related business communication. Depending on the context, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or our legitimate interest in handling relevant business enquiries and protecting the website from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing an enquiry is voluntary. Without contact information and enough context to understand the request, we may not be able to respond.
Who receives it
Enquiries are intended for Jan Hostinský and Jan Jirásek at Unit Function. Website hosting and server-side email submission are provided through ACTIVE 24, s.r.o., Sokolovská 394/17, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic. We do not use a separate third-party form platform.
Retention & transfers
The website itself does not store enquiry submissions in a database. Enquiries are delivered by email to the two founding partners. If an enquiry does not lead to cooperation, we ordinarily retain the correspondence for up to 12 months so we can keep context for reasonable follow-up. Relevant records may be retained longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or to comply with legal duties. If cooperation begins, relevant correspondence becomes part of the business relationship and is retained under the applicable business and legal retention rules.
The website is hosted in the infrastructure arranged through ACTIVE 24. The contact form does not use a third-party form platform, analytics service, advertising pixel or external CAPTCHA. The website itself does not intentionally transfer enquiry data outside the European Economic Area. Email delivery and subsequent correspondence may involve the providers configured for Unit Function's business email accounts; their processing follows the applicable service configuration and contractual terms.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, request data portability. We do not use website enquiries for solely automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects, and an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ), or with another competent supervisory authority. Contacting us first is not a condition for exercising that right. See uoou.gov.cz.
Images & references
The founding partner portraits use the supplied original photographs, cropped for display. The architectural hero image is illustrative, not a representation of the registered office. Client names and logos identify references, not testimonials or guarantees of results.
